Taste Camembert from France aside a Camembert from California. Nibble on a washed rind from Epoisses village, then try a washed rind from Point Reyes. Sample a triple crème from Burgundy beside a triple crème from the coastal U.S. Vive la difference! Join us for an event that brings together cheese makers from the old and new worlds, as well as their tasty handiwork. There will be side-by-side tastings of similar cheeses made half a globe apart. Discover the “taste of the land,” eat the cheeses with the beers and wines from their Terroir. Meet and greet Jean Berthaut, maker of Epoisses, Thierry Graindorge, maker of traditional Normandy cheeses, Peggy Smith from Cowgirl Creamery and other local wine and cheese makers.
